ApplySign-up requiredJob description
You work hand in hand with your manager to support the growth of Malt, a European freelance marketplace. You act as a bridge between technical support and the employee experience.
The internship covers the full range of internal IT: level 1 and 2 support, deploying Macs with MDM tools, inventory, documentation and internal tools. You quickly become autonomous and can get involved in internal projects.
The internship starts in January 2027 at the Paris office, with a hybrid remote policy. Malt gives one paid day off per month worked, Swile meal vouchers worth €9 per day and covers 50% of transport costs.
What you'll do
- International Tech Support (Level 1 & 2): Support Malters across France, the UK, Spain, Germany, and Benelux. Use SIIT to solve technical issues and keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Hardware Masterclass: Set up, deploy, and maintain our fleet of Mac (M5) using professional MDM tools to support our hybrid teams.
- Global Asset Strategy: Keep our global IT inventory up to date and ensure all equipment is properly tracked and managed.
- Building the "Company Brain": Create and improve internal guides, tutorials, FAQs, and security documentation to help every Malter find the information they need.
- Mission-Critical Projects: Contribute to IT improvement projects and build internal tools that make work easier across our remote sites and offices.
Who they're looking for
- Your pursuing a Master degree (Bac +3/5) in Computer Science or IT. You aren’t looking for a siloed role; you want to explore the full spectrum of IT, from infrastructure to automation.
- The Digital Investigator: You might not have every answer yet, but you know exactly where to find them. You are resourceful, methodical, and love solving technical puzzles.
- Proactive Innovator: You have an "Automation First" mindset. If a process feels slow, your first instinct is to build a better version and leave the system stronger than you found it.
- Global Communicator: Your English is fluent (professional level). You are comfortable being the technical point of contact for our diverse international teams.
- High "Get-it-Done" Factor: You thrive on autonomy. You learn fast, adapt quickly, and take pride in diagnosing and resolving issues independently.
- Impact-Driven: You want to see the direct results of your work on a company’s growth. At Malt, your contribution is visible every single day.
