Your questionnaire in 3 steps
Create
Add your questions, split them into sections and choose where each answer leads. The preview shows exactly what your respondents will see.
Share
A short link, with a preview card on WhatsApp. Your respondents don't need an account. You can also post it to the Edu Swap exchange.
Analyse
Follow answers live, filter them, read the charts question by question and export a CSV for Excel, SPSS or Jamovi.
Everything a research questionnaire needs
The question types and settings a thesis needs, with no subscription.
Likert scales and grids
Ready-written 5- and 7-point scales, Likert grids, linear scales, single or multiple choice, dropdowns, short and long answers.
Sections and conditional logic
Split your questionnaire into pages and send each respondent to the right section based on their answer.
Random groups
Assign respondents at random to several versions, in balanced groups: ideal for an experiment or an A/B test.
Answers without an account
Anyone can answer from the link, on a phone or a computer. You can also keep your questionnaire for Edu Swap members.
Consent and closing
A consent screen before starting, a closing date, a maximum number of answers and your own thank-you message.
Results ready for your report
Charts per question, individual answers, filters and CSV export. Send your data to the Data Visualizer for charts ready to drop into your thesis.
French, English and Arabic in one questionnaire
Translate your questionnaire in the editor: each respondent picks their language, and every answer lands in the same results.
- Arabic reads right to left, in a clear typeface.
- One set of answers, filterable by language.
- Sharing waits until every translation is complete: no respondent ever sees an untranslated question.

Frequently asked questions
Is the questionnaire builder really free?
Yes. All it takes is a free Edu Swap account: no subscription, no paid option.
Do my respondents need an account?
No. By default, anyone answers from the link without an account. You can also keep your questionnaire for Edu Swap members; answers from the exchange always come with an account.
Can I make a questionnaire in Arabic?
Yes. Your questionnaire can be written in French, English or Arabic and translated into the other two. Each respondent picks their language, and Arabic reads right to left.
How do I export answers to Excel or SPSS?
From the results, download the CSV file: it opens in Excel, Google Sheets, SPSS or Jamovi. One column gives each respondent's language.
How many questions and answers?
Up to 100 items (questions and sections) per questionnaire. The number of answers isn't limited, unless you set a maximum yourself.
I already have a Google Forms questionnaire. What now?
You can post it as it is to the Edu Swap exchange to get answers, then analyse your export with the Data Visualizer. There's no automatic import: to use languages and random groups, recreate it in Edu Swap.
