Yes. Credits are earned by answering surveys — no money ever changes hands. No subscriptions, no premium tier, no ads, no card on file.

Technically yes — you can post a survey with as little as 1 credit (credits are deducted only as responses arrive). Most students answer 3–5 surveys first to learn the loop, then post. Admins occasionally grant a few starter credits during early access.

Google Forms (including forms.gle short links) plus any other form platform — Typeform, Microsoft Forms, Lovable, custom React apps, etc. For Google Forms we automatically check the validation code is in your form. For everything else you confirm in one click that you've added the code, since we can't HTML-grep SPA / JS-rendered platforms from the server. With Edu Swap Forms, your questionnaire is built on Edu Swap itself: people answer right on the page and there's no code to add.

Three layers: (1) a flat 1:30 visibility-aware timer — that's the absolute minimum to earn a credit, but the owner's recommended time is shown next to the timer so responders take the survey seriously, (2) a validation code that only appears in the form's confirmation message — responders physically can't see it without submitting, (3) admin review for anything that looks off.

Title, description, targeting, topics, and deadline — all editable. If you change the form URL, the survey re-verifies with the same code. Closing or deleting is one click (delete locked once you have responses).

Any email you actually own. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, Proton, university emails, ISP emails — all welcome. We send a verification link and only activate your account once you click it, so use the address you actually check. That's also where you'll get response notifications and deadline reminders.

With Google Forms, Typeform or another service, we never see what someone wrote in your form: the answers stay with that service, and we only record who answered. With Edu Swap Forms, answers are stored on Edu Swap to show in your results, and every respondent sees who collects them before starting.
