We auto-detect every question type — multiple choice, checkboxes, linear scales, grids, dates, free text — and build the right chart for each.

Each chart exports as a 2× pixel-ratio PNG. Drop them straight into your report, slides, or paper.
Every question type, covered
We detect the question shape and pick the right chart for it. No manual labelling.

Numeric / Age

Multiple choice grid
One row per grid statement — instant survey-paper layout.

Your file never leaves your browser.
Most chart tools upload your spreadsheet to their server. We don't. The Data Visualizer parses everything client-side — your respondents' answers stay on your device. We can't see them. We don't store them. We don't sell them.
What makes it different?
A quick comparison, on the questions students actually ask.

Built for the PFE deadline
Edu Swap is a credit-based survey exchange for students. The Data Visualizer is one of the free tools we provide for your final-year research, no account needed.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to sign up?
No. The Data Visualizer is free and works without an account: drop your file on this page. A free Edu Swap account adds direct opening of your Edu Swap Forms answers, and the survey exchange to collect answers.
What file types are supported?
Excel `.xlsx` and `.xls`, plus plain `.csv`. The export buttons in Google Sheets all produce these. Max file size is 20 MB.
Is my data sent to your server?
No. Parsing and chart rendering happen entirely in your browser. We never receive your file or its contents.
Why doesn't Edu Swap support pasting a Google Sheets URL?
Because that would require sending the link to our server with read access — and we want zero contact with your data. Exporting is one extra click; we think the privacy is worth it.
Can I download the charts as PNG?
Yes. Each chart has a `PNG` button. Downloads render at 2× pixel ratio so they stay crisp in printed reports.
Which Google Forms question types are supported?
All of them — Multiple choice, Checkboxes, Dropdown, Linear scale, Multiple choice grid, Checkbox grid, Date, Time, File upload, Short answer, Paragraph. We auto-detect each one from your export.
Can I use it with Edu Swap Forms?
Yes, with your account. From your form's results, the "Open in the Data Visualizer" button loads your answers without an export: scales and choices keep your questionnaire's order.
