You help the Global Mobility team at the law firm Forvis Mazars Avocats support companies and internationally mobile employees with their tax and social security matters.

Job description

You join the Global Mobility Services (GMS) team of Forvis Mazars Avocats in Lyon, a small, fast-growing team. It helps clients expand internationally: employee transfers, pay, tax and social security.

Experts support you as you build skills in personal tax and social security. You work on a wide range of cases, with an advisory approach focused on client satisfaction.

This is a final-year internship starting in early 2027.

What you'll do

  • Handling international assignments (analysing international social security and tax treaties, calculating pay, adjusting foreign-source income, etc.)
  • Helping design clients’ global mobility strategy (mobility policy, pay package, etc.)
  • Supporting mobile employees, especially with their tax obligations (annual income tax returns, French real estate wealth tax)
  • Supporting foreign companies with no French establishment (social security, tax and payroll obligations, etc.)
  • Keeping up with social security and tax developments in France and abroad

Who they're looking for

  • First- or second-year master’s student, or trainee lawyer
  • Good command of English
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Methodical and comfortable with figures (Excel)
  • You enjoy working in a team
  • Committed, rigorous, willing and persistent
